Play It Again Sports San Diego (Scripps Mesa)

NEVER EVER EVER take any skiis or snowboards here. Bought a pair of skiis from them and they assured me all the tuning, waxing and sharpening would be done. Get to the mountain and the edges a DULL as can be. Dull to the point it's dangerous to skii with. If I could rate this place 0 stars I would.

I called at 3 PM to see if anybody was there to buy used gear, they said ya of course, come on down. I came in at 4:15. They close at 5pm. And they said Sorry we cant buy any used stuff right now since we close soon I said what time do you guys close? he said 5pm I said thats 45 minutes and he said ya I just cant I said I just called an hour ago and asked if I could bring these down around 4 and yall said yes. We live 40 minutes away and drove all the way here . So we walked out. The guy was rude and had terrible customer service.

I've been going to this store for years now and always get great deals! They have tons of new equipment as well and owners, Tye and Chris, are very knowledgeable.

These guys are awesome. I went here to buy my first good pair of ice hockey skates and the manager took so much time with me to make sure I got exactly what I needed. Could not be happier. If you need some advice or direction for your purchase this is the place to go. Thanks guys!

We bought a children's road bike (Fuji) for our daughter from Tye. He is the most helpful person we have met in a shop!! He did a great service on the bike before we picked it up (my dad, who is a mechanics, checked it when picking up and was super pleased with the tune up). Tye also helped us packaging the bike up as we needed to take it on an airplane. Again he did a fabulous job in packaging it and made sure the bike was well protected. The bike arrived with us with no issues. Cannot recommend this place more!! Super happy with our first experience at this shop.
