    I want to start by expressing my gratitude for coming across Rock Rose Commercial Company. I am incredibly thankful for them, and especially for Sydney herself. Everyone on her staff is exceptionally understanding; they truly comprehend that life happens. I've never encountered such a friendly and empathetic team. The apartments are not just nice; they're beautiful, and I'm genuinely thankful for the experience. If youre looking for somewhere to move in imperial Beach in North Park area, go with RockRose.

    My previous review was removed, maybe because I didnt add a description. More than likely it was Sydney trying to hide the truth! She has a terrible response time and is very rude. These other reviews with five stars are from previous and current employees. Dont let it fool you. Edit: my review is somehow being hidden. Once again they are trying to deceive new tenants with fake reviews. Be careful if you are dealing with them! Edit February 26, 2024: One of the other reviewers just pointed out that Rockrose is doing a special promotion for positive reviews... Scammers.. be careful. Not sure if you can even see this review because Sydney is awful.

    I just rented an apartment from RockRose Commercial and I couldnt have had a more seamless, easy, and pleasant experience. The RockRose team went above and beyond to make sure everything was done in a timely manner for my move in and were extremely responsive to any question I had. Sydney especially made me feel very valued as a tenant and as a person. I would recommend RockRose to anyone searching for their next home/apartment!

    extremely unprofessional, does not care about tenants rights and does not follow the law. I also recently came across evidence that rockrose commercial is offering an entry to an Amazon gift card raffle in exchange for positive reviews. So please take all reviews with a grain of salt.

    Sydney is pretty raw and inexperienced at running a business. I don't think she had any experience in property management in the state of California, or anywhere in the country for that matter prior to me renting from her. She does not do things by the book which is why I think it's important to share this information with others so you know what you could experience. At one point she gave a copy of my home keys to a third party repairman and had them come into my home without my knowledge AND without RockRose being present for the service. This third party was not on the RockRose payroll and was just an average Joe repairman that she found on Yelp and hired. When I called her out on this she played it off as if she had no idea that what she did was illegal. It was my first red flag. When Sydney schedules repairs sometimes she'll give you a time frame of when her workers will show and other times she does not communicate at all and you're left hoping someone shows. If you try to contact her in the moment, she will not answer phone calls. You have to text or email and hope someone from RockRose will see the message. Other minor issues occured in my time living there that she did not address. Issue such as a broken mailbox that was not addressed for over a year. Our local mailman stopped delivering mail because the box was inoperable and jammed. He said MULTIPLE times that we just needed a new box. Sydney refused that as the solution and because of that, certain tenants were not receiving their mail for nearly a year. She kept sending a "repairman" to fix the box but the people she hired couldn't fix it either. Other issues being out front and back gate locks to our property were not actually locking. Either the equipment she buys is cheap, the people she hires to install/repair are bad at their jobs or a combination of both. Random people from the alley could just walk into the property. And at one point our shared storage room was broken into. They put a lock on the door of the storage room but the lock issues on the rest of the property still were broken. Because she did not properly and safety secure the property, we have homeless folks come into the property in the middle of the night to charge their phones. There is an outlet plug in on the side of the building and at 2am its one of the most popular places to be. Sydney was made aware of this by multiple tenants but never addressed the issue in my 2 years living there. Also if you do see positive reviews around RockRose, please be aware she was offering tenants a chance to "win" a $500 Amazon gift card if they left positive reviews near the end of 2023. She would enter your name into the raffle more if you left positive reviews on multiple platforms. I believe she had to do this after her and her company were blasted on the local news for buying properties and kicking existing tenants out during the holiday season. And based on some other reviews it sounds like I haven't been the only tenant to have these poor experiences. Overall if you're in your early 20s and don't mind being taken advantage of, RockRose and Sydney Daily are for you! Anyone looking for professionalism and safety in your landlord, look elsewhere.
