Bright Horizons Family Center at Del Mar

Im not sure there is anything more heart breaking than a mother watching her child suffering. All I know my daughter is pain. All she feels is desperation. She tries to cry out for help, but soon learns that we are not there for her. No matter how loud she cries, she can't stop or change what is happening. No matter what she does, the pain will not stop. I would wish I could be the one that is there for her in time. So she wouldnt have to go through it. Imagine the infant who one day cries and gets fed, and the next day cries and goes hungry. One day smiles and is kissed and hugged. The next day smiles and is ignored..There was love one minute and disdain the next. Affection that was given in abundance for no reason and then taken away without cause. The child has no ability to predict or influence the behavior of the adults. The narcissist loves a child only as an extension of themselves at first, and then as a loyal subject. So they will pay attention to the child only when it makes them feel good. We were children. Even someone with an idyllic childhood who is only trying to remember the lovely things which happened to them will scratch their head and wonder who gave them that doll in their birthday, or who give them a warm hug at my first day at school or who sing a beautiful song for them. You see, even happy memories are hard to piece together so imagine how hard it is to collate all of the trauma, to pull together all of the things that a child have to for trying to push away for so many years. How do you love people who are violent to you.? Thanks for letting me to share my thoughts

Couldnt be more happy with Bright Horizons. Staff, from Ms Sandy to Ms Tina and Lisa, and Teachers, from Ms Courtney, Whitney, and Christine (both); have been so so fantastic and loving towards our girl and all the kids. You can tell they love what they do and educating our kids. We have been here for two years and greatly recommend BH. The app with pictures that they update each day is a big perk and they are always responsive to emails. Thanks so much BH!!!!

My son 3yrs old attended November of 2022 potter room. We thought initially bright horizons was going to be a great fit to be fair and it turned out to be a disaster. Not to get into to many specifics we are pretty fair and patient to begin with. They were going through a change in teachers which came out of nowhere.They introduced a new teacher and he left or was let go not sure no explanation was given. We changed back to the original teacher so a lot of changes in one month. What really discouraged us and was a red flag was two changes in clothes for our son with no explanation as to who and when he was changed. We had a parent teacher conference and the teacher at the time was apologetic but she admitted they had no idea my son was starting and joining their class room. Which is not an excuse in my book for over a month of him at their facility and no real explanations on his change of clothing. We pulled him out and were still expected to pay the following month with all of their blunders. I do not recommend this facility to entrust with the care children. One change of clothing sure but 2 and no explanation the teachers asking each other who changed him in front of me with no answer. I do not recommend.
