Children of the Rainbow

Working at Children of the rainbow was a blessing. The community served of Logan is well needed.  The BOSS Gale is awesome. She actually wants here employee to succeed. It is rare for her to dismiss someone from work.  She believes in people ability to change.The staff is AWESOME MRS. Marisa is the best manager I have ever had. Such a genuine person, that cares about other people other than herself..

My son attended Children of the Rainbow when he was only 4 months and was only there for 2 months I unfortunately had to take him out of the program and that was soo upsetting! I was sooo happy with the care he got in the infant room, Ms. Leslie is amazing shes soo caring and loving as well as the rest of the staff. Jasmine and Jenin are awesome! I know my baby is going to miss everyone there! I Hope in the future we can come back to children of the rainbow! Thank you Children of the Rainbow

This facility has been nothing but good to my son and me. Not only does he have autism he has a speech delay so its nerve wracking leaving my son for so long every day. The teachers always seem to ease my worries.  It's a very diverse environment which I love!My favorite teachers are Ms. Tina, Ms. Linda and Ms. Rochelle and Mr. Julio (he keeps the facility looking nice and clean but always greets my son in the mornings. :) the Assistants are great as well.My son has been there since he was 3 months old. Hes 5 now! Cons: not the best area of town but facility is secure. I also wish they stayed open later :(

Both of my children have attended, and one is still attending, Children of the Rainbow & they love it!. The teachers are amazing and they are focused in helping the children learn and grow. The classroom structure provided is appreciated and makes for a smooth transition from school to home, speaking from my personal experience. I would recommend this daycare to anyone who is looking to expose their child to a diverse environment. We LOVE Children of the Rainbow!

I've been meaning to come leave a review about this center since we have been with them for 2.5 years and they have seen both of my children grow and helped them learn. To start off, this center is located in a more notoriously rough area of town, down the street from Lincoln High School; that being said, the staff and teachers at this facility have always provided great care of both of my children and all of the other children I have seen when dropping off/picking up my kids. I have always been notified if there was an issue with the teachers and staff  always so patient, understanding, loving, and willing to work with my children to make sure that their environment was safe and healthy. While this physical location is not the best and there have been plenty of issues with plumbing, leaks, pests, the city shutting off water and forcing the center to close unexpectedly and other various administrative/training days that also cause the center to close that we have to account for with alternate (often times hard to find) child care throughout the year, I always keep in consideration that it is not the staff's fault and they do not have control over certain things. As well, I have witnessed a handful of parents that are extremely rude, entitled, and overall terrible for the staff to deal with. On numerous occasions I have overheard staff pleading with a mother to please bring her kid diapers asap because the child has been without diapers for almost 2 weeks and the staff has had to use other children's diapers. In return the mother started yelling at the staff that the grandmother is the one who picks the child up and they never told the grandmother anything  (although the staff writes it on the front cover of the sign in binder and reminds the parents when they see them constantly; I forgot one time so I know firsthand) and she proceeded to say that if staff kept "harassing" her she would take her kid to another daycare because she didn't need them on her case. I have seen other parents yelling at staff over missing clothing, which I also experienced a few times, but never took it personally because I know it comes with the territory that stuff goes missing at school. I have also had to deal with the incidents where another child was aggressive towards my child(ren) and unfortunately at one point my child reciprocating that behavior towards others, however the staff always handled the situation appropriately and notified me as soon as I saw them. Overall, this location is full of loving, caring, engaging staff that truly care about the children and have always provided the best care working with what they have and the area they are located in.
