San Diego Sports Medicine Physical Therapy

I had a great experience with SDSM when I needed physical therapy last year. Dr. Bernadett was able to refer me to the PT clinic for my AC joint sprain/arm discomfort, and Dr. Allen was able to diagnose the root cause of the issue early on in our first appointment. Dr. Allen did a great job of explaining the issue, laying out a plan of attack, and letting me know how each exercise would specifically help me. She and the assistants at SDSM did a good job of walking me through the exercises as well so that I could easily follow the at-home workout plans that were created each week. Overall I'd recommend SDSM to anyone who needs physical therapy.

I tore my calf muscle and it didn't feel quite right so I came here to get some exercises to strengthen the muscle. Everyone here was super nice. Parking is ok. When I got injured the doctor sent me results with a lot of medical terminology I didn't understand and Mackenzie was super helpful in explaining what happened to my muscle.

I am writing this review at Yelp to express my sincere gratitude for the outstanding job that you guys are doing at the Sorrento Valley unit. Also, I would like to express how fortunate I am to have Malina Styan as my therapist. She is so dedicated treating me and other patients that honestly, I am impressed. She is simply the role-model of what a physical therapist should be. Keep up the good work guys!

Car did illegal uturn on road and i tboned him on a motorcycle at a high rate of speed. Shattered my right leg from knee down dislocated my thumb (which was diagnosed 4 months after diagnosis), and shattered dont index finger & knuckle. Went to 2 Pt centers and was at each one for 6 days and progress started declining. Spoke with my physical dr Anthony (great physical doctor) and he recommended this Pt. Kristen, Mackenzie, Doreen, Gloria and the 3 other ladies who have helped (which I don't remember their names) as well as everyone in the building is amazing.Kristen has been amazing for my hand. Mackenzie has been amazing for my leg. Both have made huge progress and did within the first 10 days. Highly recommend, amazing environment with great people, took on projects that other pt places couldn't achieve progress on.

Doreen and Dave Hall at San Diego Sports Medicine are the best! I somehow managed to tie myself in knots trying to keep up my usual exercise routine to the point where just walking and bending hurt.  In just a couple of sessions, Doreen worked out the knots, straightened out my hips and back, and restored my flexibility. I truly feel like my younger self. I'm looking forward to Pilates with Dave to help me stay this way. So grateful to you both!!
