Shopping to buy a paintbrush and get a gallon of paint shaking and to request a empty gallon and lid. They said they would call me when it come in, still waiting!

This store would get ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE. Worst customer service I've ever experienced in a Sherwin Williams store. On 09/10/2023 we walked in at 2:30 and there was 1 employee ( Matise) and us. That's it. He didn't acknowledge us when we walked in. We asked for help and he said it's just him working there and it should be obvious there wasn't anybody too help us. Wow, and then he informed us he didn't want to deal with this situation. We left....

I have been into the Carmel Mtn store a few times of late. The people there are great to work with. Very helpful. Not much or no wait. Clean and tidy. Well organized

Friendly service and the shop never seems to be busy. My only complaint is that stock is really poor here. I would say they are out of stock of my desired paint base at least 50% of the time (out of >10 visits) and I get sent to Poway or Miramar, which are more out of the way for me. By comparison, Poway and Berkeley locations had my paint in stock 100% of the time. If the paint I needed were in stock at least 80% of the time, this shop would get 5 stars. Edit: last 4 or 5 times stock has been better and customer service has been wonderful. I'm upgrading the rating to 5 stars. Keep it up.
