Bill and Karen are truly professionals and extremely knowledgeable about their work. I highly recommend them if you are planning of purchasing or refinancing a home. As a first time home buyer, I was very pleased with how my Mortgage Lenders (Bill and Karen) guided me through the process. Bill and Karen kept me motivated when I wanted to give up. And they encouraged me to not only be patient, but to trust their work as they have a lot of experience taking care if Vetsrans. At the beginning of working with Bill in April, he had me explain my situation, and after doing so, he said that he can have me fully approved by an underwriter, and the the purchase of my new home closed by late June. IT WAS ALL COMPLETED BY JUNE 24TH!!!! Bill and Karen are the best team ever! We worked with Clark Anctil on securing a VA loan for our home. Being overseas, we had anxiety about purchasing a home from afar, but he and the Merchants Home Lending team were very easy to work with and were very knowledgable about the process. They helped secure us a great interest rate and was able to close in 14 days which seems unheard of with a VA loan. Highly recommend them!

Bill and his team were excellent, they have some exceptional capabilities in terms of analyzing the best interest rate vs. the cost of that interest rate, and balancing the likelihood of being able to refinance at a lower rate in the future. They are prompt at responding, and lightning fast at closing which gives you more bargaining power. Big thanks to Bill and his team!
