When we decided to sell our apartment building in San Diego County, our attorney recommended Gabe Candea, (The Beacon Group and Compass Commercial.) We talked to Gabe about a 1031 exchange, and he walked us though the process. His ability to explain everything and what our options were at every step made us very comfortable. His knowledge of the area and experience allowed him to mail information about our building to his list of likely buyers and had seven offers in 48 hours. Gabe went through each one and explained why he wanted to focus on one. His strategy paid off and we received our asking price after the seven-day escrow requested by the buyer. A transaction like ours requires excellent communication and close cooperation of the agent, the seller, the buyer the title company, and the 1031 accommodator. Gabes team worked from early morning until way after five every day. They were always available by phone and all of them were very helpful. Escrow closed on time and the transaction was recorded.
