I had a really great experience with Agent Jon! He spent a lot of time explaining the whole purchase process with us, and also explained all the details of the transaction process to us, including the purchase agreement, advisories and other paperwork. I highly recommend Jon when youre looking to sell buy a home!

Jon Tolhoek was truly exceptional. We met him through my wifes sister and yes, he helped her with the purchase of her home in the Clairemont area. I was impressed with his level of knowledge and the amount of data that he had about the market and the areas we were interested in. Jon was ALWAYS available for home tours. His responsiveness was incredible. If he didnt pick up, Jon always called back no longer than 5 minutes later. Seriously. We purchased a newly constructed model home so it wasnt a straightforward deal. Jon told us that going in and highlighted the concerns. He provided an incredible amount of information gathered about the process, status of city and county inspections in Poway, and knowledgable information on all the non-standard documents we had questions on. The delivery of the information was straightforward: he would present the info and talk about pros/cons/strategy for moving forward. We always felt comfortable asking him everything and to say he had our back every step of the way is an understatement. Jon Tolhoek is also very well versed at dealing with other real estate agents. For our situation specifically there was a newer realtor on the homeowners side. Jon made sure that the newer realtor did not drag his feet any step of the way and when there were disagreements about certain verbiage in documents, Jon was patient and worked through some tough situations without breaking a sweat. His cool, calm mindset gave us the confidence he would get the job done and he did! I would absolutely recommend Jon to anyone looking at purchasing a home. From first time home buyers to anyone interested. When I am looking to buy again I will not hesitate to call Jon Tolhoek!

My wife and I recently purchased a home with Jon and it couldn't have been a better experience! Buying in the current market is NOT easy, but Jon works hard to ensure you are comfortable with every decision and keeps you informed of everything along the way (including what to expect in all scenarios). He is skilled at crafting competitive offers that stay within your comfort zone and will always give you his honest advice about each situation without pressure. Jon works fast and does not drag his feet. In our experience, he regularly dropped what he was doing to meet with us (including last minute requests and weekend viewings). He always took our anxious calls (some late at night) to answer questions and genuinely made us feel like we were taken care of - and we were! By far the best agent we could have asked for! We were first time buyers and Agent Jon helped us understand the steps of the purchase process by explaining it all to us, including offer strategy. He make it all so easy to understand which made the process fun, exciting and stress free! He always responded quickly and continually went above and beyond for us. We are forever grateful.
