Israeli Mediterranean food. The hummus is good, the falafel is tasty and it is the only place around that serves Sabih. Great food. Vegetarian options: Hummus Falafel

We had the pleasure of being transported to the Mediterranean on a recent hosted experience at the amazing restaurant Pita 22 in San Diego, California Jessica, the manager, was an absolute delight and did not disappoint with her recommendations. Each dish is made in-house and packed with flavor and freshness. With generous portion sizes, each bite left us satisfied, yet craving more. Heres what we loved: harissa sauce: spicy, bold flavor that packs a punch in every bite the pita was fluffy and soft and our 8-year-old happily gobbled them up with the delicious hummus the hummus fries were fun and flavorful the falafel salad was a delightful combination of fresh vegetables and flavor-packed quinoa and rice that left all of us wanting more the vegan portobello pita sandwich was delightfully delicious and satisfying, especially to our mushroom loving 5-year-old the shakshuka was savory perfection The menu is extensive and adaptable and is sure to satisfy any flavor palette and desire. Its in a fantastic location in a shopping plaza with ample parking. All tables were full at lunch hour with a constant stream of customers and it didnt feel overcrowded and busy. The vibe is modern with a cozy twist, with family photos and plants throughout. This kitchen has done a lovely job adding plenty of plant-based items to the menu that are packed with freshness and flavor. We highly recommend and cant wait to go back #hosted #mediterraneancuisine #greekfood #familyownedrestaurant #plantbasedfood #culinaryadventure Vegetarian options: Tons of incredible vegan options!!

WARNING THIS IS NOT LEVANT ARAB WRAP STYLE (the shawarma looks like a taco bread in cylinder shape). this is north african style shawarma (shape is different uses pita bread). I expected levant arab.
