Truly a magnificent, perfect establishment. I love that theres an option to order ahead online which is great for when you need goodies on the go. >> The coffee: a dream (you must try the Cafe Cubano). They also make a mean iced latte! >> the PASTRIES! Best in all of OB maybe even all of SD. Their scones are so delish (peach champagne!?) and their ham + manchego quiche is to die for I almost wish this place wasnt near me because Im here way too often. Azcar, lets get a punch card going!

Food is good but the way they run their business is they stop baking at 3 PM so if you come at 3:30 even if its still a business hours until 4 oclock they dont make their food and you wouldnt know unless you call first. Update: I just came here from national city at 2 oclock and they already stopped baking for today. So even if you come in before 3 PM, they will not have the baked goods that you want and they always say order online. Maybe they should just close the bakery itself and make everything only order online. What is the purpose of the bakery if its not gonna have ready-made baked goods during business hours.

Truly fine pastries! It was an adventure for me because I didnt know what I was buying. Turned out to be a guava jelly and cream cheese pastry. Absolutely light as a feather and delicious. Dont let the long line scare you; it moves fast.
