Bad service. Long hour waits on the phone

It took over an hour to check in for the lab. No one knew how to enter insurance information or how to look up the labs. No privacy either. They were yelling from one side of the office to the other to ask for help. The lady entering my information did not speak very good English and kept putting the numbers in backwards. They blamed it on a new system. Parking is paid by the hour so it cost me an extra $8. Once I got back to get my blood drawn, the nurse helping the lady next to me told her she used the wrong tubes and needed to do it all over again. I have very little confidence in this place.

-small, quiet building located beside the scripps memorial hospital in the utc area of la jolla-easy to navigate; only four floors and well labelled suite numbers-several entrances, but only one has a directory or an information desk-parking in lot "c" is easy and plentiful, a minimum of $4 which sucks if you're just going for a quick doctor's visit-there's currently a lot of construction in the area, so the crosswalk from the parking lot is closed and there's a long(er) detour... but a complimentary shuttle is available
