Green Locksmith

Overall, it's not that bad. My car key bent and needed a replacement cut and reprogrammed. I was quoted $250.00 and agreed, which was honestly the cheapest compared to other locksmiths who wanted $400+ A few of the reasons why only 3 stars instead of a 4 or 5. 1. When I made the initial call, I was told between 10AM and 11AM the following day. I got a call a little after 10AM stating that it wouldn't be until around 4-6PM that the driver would come who was the one who called me. Okay, I can deal with that, maybe some miscommunication. 2nd, the driver texted me saying 30 minutes but didn't show up until almost an hour went by. 3rd, I had to pay using Zale, which the driver said it was to save me money so I wouldn't get charged a transaction fee which I honestly did not feel comfortable doing and I felt it was very unprofessional of a business to be doing business transactions in a manner as that despite getting a reciept I still feel that either payment should just be taken prior over the phone as I had already provided my card information over the phone. The job, however, was very well done. I got my replacment key as well as an extra. The locksmith himself was very polite and professional acting.

Took a job for us, Quoted 750.00 We approved that amount Filled out the CC form which came from "Direct Business Solutions" (scammers ) Work was done and then they took their parts back because they needed more money for the job. We were never informed more money was needed. Now we cannot get anyone to answer the phone after they took the money SCAMMERS DO NOT CALL EVER Find another company You will be sorry if you hire them PS See Direct Business Solutions in EL Cerrito for their one star rating also

This business is a COMPLETE JOKE!!! The most awful business ethic I've ever encounter UNETHICAL, IMMORAL, DISHONEST, DECEITFUL, DISREPUTABLE, UNCONSCIONABLE!! The tech definitely had a shady demeanor. All I needed was to switch a door knob they quoted me $100 -140. When tech was all said and done he charged us $300. ALL to end up with the original knob the door had when tech came in. And he left the part where the key enters OFF! So, now the door knob has a hole in it. Not to mention SLOPPY he left parts laying all over the counter top.

Tech was 5 stars (Matt or Matthew?) Ask for him if you can.  Price was insanely high (but that's supply/demand for you when it comes to finding a lock Smith at 9PM on a Saturday).  Would have been 5 stars if it been about 25% cheaper.
