SD Wood Kitchen & Bath - Kitchen Cabinets San Diego - Kitchen Remodeling

I used SD wood cabinet for probably two years. I use to have a great company rep and then someone new took over her job, thats when it all went downhill. Nicole was given a layout showing exactly what we needed with measurements and she did not properly order any of the laundry door cabinets or the correct paneling sizes. When these errors occurred there was zero accountability. This wasn't just for one kitchen and laundry cabinets, this was for a grand total of 11 units. This delayed our project on the total remodel by four months, equivalent to $100,000 in loss income. Now they are threatening a lien and demanding a payment without properly providing an invoice, explanation, or a credit for their mistakes. They released all products and are threatening if 18K is not paid in two business days. Its unprofessional and incredible how a client that has ordered over 70 units of cabinets through them could be treated this way. Edit : Since this post and other things, the owner and my past rep have tried to make this situation better. Although I am still weary with using them, I appreciate the effort.

It was very important for us that the remodeling of our kitchen was done correctly the first time and on budget. We needed an expert team to partner with us and have the highest level of commitment and flexibility. We got all of it from SD Wood San Diego. Our Big Thanks to Project Manager Cheng for an excellent job in putting our project ideas together into a visual design. Cheng's attention to detail, advice and patience is beyond measure. She listened to us every step of the project and helped us work through a couple of design dilemmas. Cheng was very flexible with us sourcing material, not available with SD Wood, from other places such as MSI. Her team members Kyle, Jesse and Zhou were very meticulous and went beyond our expectations in completing the demo and installing beautiful cabinets, countertops, sink and appliances. Our dream kitchen was completed within the given time schedule. If anyone is considering kitchen remodeling, we highly recommend SD Wood, especially Cheng and her team.

We ended up having a slab leak that destroyed almost everything downstairs. Of course the insurance company doesn't want to pay much to replace a kitchen. We came across SD Wood Cabinets and Cheng, all we can say she is amazing with all her suggestions, always available and sending the 3D rendition. The price was great and the quality of the cabinets where way more then we expected, plus her install crew where amazing on how hard and professionally they worked. If you need new kitchen cabinets this is the place to go and make sure to ask for Cheng. We love our new kitchen!!

I highly recommend SD Cabinets. I just finished a kitchen project with Cheng and her cabinet installer Kyle. After speaking with several other cabinet companies in the area I decided to move forward with Cheng because of her great customer service, comparable fair prices, quality of cabinet and that she was willing to customize the cabinets to work with what I wanted. Whereas the other companies said no or did not have an installer that they worked with. I went with the white shaker, soft close, dove tail corner design. Real wood cabinets. Cheng was always understanding of every change or delay that happens during a kitchen remodel. And when it came time to schedule and install there were no issues at all. The installers were professional, clean, courteous, efficient and were pleasant to have in my house. I have children and its always a concern of who maybe coming into the house but definitely no concern with SD Wood Cabinets. I would 100% work with them again and highly recommend for cabinets. I wish I wouldve used them for countertops but my designer pushed another guy on us who she used once and its been a terrible experience already. Go with SD Wood Cabinets for the whole kitchen install. They include the design for free and even come out to the house to double check the measurements before cabinets come in. Very thorough and pleasant to work with. Thank you Cheng and Kyle!
