Bought some 14k gold opal earrings from Na Hoku. They weren't super expensive, but they weren't cheap either. They were my favorite and I wore them daily. Picked them up one day and noticed that the opal had flaked off. Who knew it was just a thin layer? Anyhow, I took them in for warranty repair. After several months, they returned them to me un-repaired. Apparently since the vendor they used to source the earrings was out of business, I was also out of luck. They still sell something similar (but more expensive earrings). What good is a lifetime warranty if a jeweler can't figure out how to repair the jewelry?? Just disappointed in the warranty.
