Absolutely amazing lady and a great service!! Took her time to make sure my apartment was spotless and very professional. Runs her company in a very efficient manner. I would recommend her to absolutely anyone and she will be my house keeper as long as Im in SD!!

DO NOT!! HIRE THIS WOMAN FOR ANY CLEANING SERVICE. Cheryl is not in the business of cleaning homes, she is a SCAM ARTIST. She advertises a professional cleaning service, but there is NOTHING professional about Cheryl or Aqua Maids. It baffles my mind to read that she has been running aqua maids for 15 years. She will rip you off of your money!!
DONT BE FOOLED. READ THE YELP REVIEWS!!!
I hired aqua maids for a move out cleaning in downtown San Diego. The unit was completely empty. It should have been an easy job.
1. She showed up 2 hrs late.
2.She was fighting & arguing with her employee in front of me on the elevator up about "if you have an attitude you can go home and I'll do it myself "... "I was just wanting to show you how I can carry all these bags on one arm" ... "don't talk to me like that " ..blah blah blah. it was embarrassing standing there witnessing this.
3. She quoted 300$ (that I was prepared to pay) to "Clean" or god knows what, when I left them at the unit alone for 1.5 hrs and then said she was done.
4. She was eating snacks (nuts,raisins) that she ended up leaving in the sink when she left. Picture attached below. (Instead of cleaning, she added to the mess)
5. A 5yr old could wipe a countertop better than Cheryl. (Pic attached)
6. I wish I took pics of the bathrooms but I was heated at this point, walking through doing my inspection. They didn't spray windex on the glass, didn't scrub the showers. Didn't mop the bathroom floors.
7. We got into a arguing match about the quality of work and how it was not a job worth 300$ .
8. I asked for a receipt at the end of the service , she never sent one.
I could go on and on about my experience with this woman. But, this review has gone long enough.
I don't usually write reviews but I woke up this morning thinking about how she should not be able to run this business any longer and rob people of their money. The San Diego small business commission needs to shut aqua maids down!
I will be filing a complaint.
If you are expecting a cleaning service, don't expect it from aqua maids. CHERYL WAS THE WORST.
I refused to pay the 300$. The quality of work didn't even deserve the 150$ I paid.
I refused to let them back upstairs to correct any issues because I was done with Cheryl and her lack of professionalism. Services: Standard cleaning, Moving-related cleaning, Move-out cleaning

I hired Aqua Maid last minute as my mom was spontaneously coming into town and hates a messy place. They did a same day booking, and absolutely took fantastic care of me. My place was left immaculate. Couldn't recommend them enough. Looking forward to using them again. Service: Deep clean
