Whaley House Museum

Took a tour here with my husband last year and we had so much fun! Its super cool hearing about the history and having a chance to experience the paranormal! Our tour guide was named Hunny he did an incredible job giving the tour as well as keeping everything lively and entertaining! Definitely recommend him and taking a tour of this house in general!

Maybe time was a factor. The horror I was warned about must have been at the evening times. We were there about 4pm. A lady who went by "Ghoulie Julie" articulated the history of the Whalen family and the Whalen house. She spoke eloquently. As you see by the images I posted, there are other things to admire!

We did the night ghost tour. The website says no more than 8 but our tour had 10, which was too many in my opinion. I would recommend breaking up groups into pairs or trios and rotating rooms every 10 minutes or so that way everyone can experience each room. Also keep doors open if unoccupied and when occupied, close the door and everyone knows not to enter. We had a young child in the group that was running around a bit and there was also someone that was a bit disinterested and intruding on others with his actions.

Hannah was an amazing tour guide! Such great insight into the Whaley family and what they went through. A must see while in town!
