The food was well presented and absolutely delicious. Delicious flaky patties that taste as good as they smell.

The service was good. The ambiance was that of a typical Haitian restaurant and I know that on the weekends it looks like they have a really good time! I just want not satisfied with the food. The patties are probably the only thing I really enjoyed. We had the griot which was on the dry side and the sos pwa was on the watery side. The legume didn't have the flavors I was looking for. Those were only 2 dishes that we tried so I wouldn't count this restaurant out just yet. But I haven't gone back to try anything else yet either.

Best kept secret in San Diego. I do like Jamaican food, but had never tried Haitian food. My husband and I are both vanilla Caucasian and we loved it! When we arrived, we had doubts as the place is a hole in the wall, but looks are deceiving! The food and portions were OUTSTANDING as was the service!! Generous portions that were 100 % home cookedno GMOs here! Tip: order the Ginger Tea, its not sweetened and this, plus the food, will cure what ails you! Loved the ownerplease give this place biz!

The staff is helpful and attentive. They created a vegan version of the legumes for us. The plantains were so fresh and the presentation was appealing.

As an Armed Forces retiree and transient from the East Coast (of Haitian descent) I am very happy to have found this restaurant! I've been here several times and even brought my extended family the past few weeks. It was their first time eating "Ayiti" cuisine, and they absolutely loved it! Griot is my favorite delicacy of all time, so y'all already know. The beef patties are so flaky and flavorful. They give me all kinds of life! The goat (stewed or fried) is also delicious! Martha and her family have embraced me very much as a patron! It means a lot because it reminds me of my late mother, along with some nostalgia and the few good times I had in my adolescence. I would love to see this eatery gain more business. Don't sleep on them! GET YOUR BEHINDS OVER HERE to eat some GENUINE AND AUTHENTIC FOOD FROM THIS HIDDEN GEM IN SAN DIEGO!
