image Beware!!!! Due to the response of this post I would even say negative stars if possible now.The owner, Blonde lady, will say anything to get you to buy. Then gets snappy when caught. I bought a shirt (cardigan)and was worried about wrinkles she promised it was perfect for travel and was in a shopping bag for a few hrs and came out looking like a bag. When I returned it she stated No returns, by the way was not warned nor were there signs but said we can exchange. This store offers shady customer service then gets snappy and upset when caught. Stay away better off going to Walgreens or CVS, also better selection and pricing!!!! Plus Walgreens is not far away.
To the owner who replied. I am the daughter. And if you wanted a better review I would recommend asking to see how you could better the situation. Not blaming her. That first off speaks highly to your customer service. The reason I was speaking in first person was because I didn't want my mother to feel pressure of this post. I did think the color looked good on her, but I did hear you promise over and over again that it would not wrinkle, and that she could crumple it up and leave it in a corner without any wrinkles. You also mention that it was great for travel which it would have been in a suitcase for multiple hours, the same as in the trunk of the car in the bag you provided .You also said that this was a great fabric and then after you steamed it it would not wrinkle. The response that you had today where you rudely agreed with the comment I believe I am obsessed with wrinkles" that my mother made in kindness to try to ease the tension, with "seems so" was taken actually as an insult, as well as your attitude towards someone who did not appreciate your deceiving nature. It wasn't very customer friendly to blame the customer for something that they have a concerned about that they had previously expressed before the purchase. Not to mention yes it was a cardigan but it was the fact that it still wrinkled after the promise was made. Also, I did search your store and did not see a sign. If you would like please post one on Google to show that there is signs for the no return, but at this time it is a moot point because it's after the fact. Again I will leave my statement at one star if not less due to your response. To all readers here avoid this place they treated my mother awfully!! I was appalled. Walgreens has better customer service and pricing and is only minutes away.

We are concerned that a Google “local guide” would choose to misrepresent this incident so egregiously. She is entitled to her own opinion, but not to her own facts.First, our “No Returns” sign is clearly posted for all to see.Secondly, we checked our records and with staff in the shop at the time: we clearly recall that when she purchased the sweater (not a “shirt” as she claims) we did not “say anything “to get her to buy it. Instead, it was her daughter who repeatedly told her that the color was terrific for her and that she should buy it.Third, she attempted to return the sweater nearly 24 hours after purchase. It appeared that it had been sitting in the bag overnight (not just a “few hours” as she claimed). Of course it’s going to have wrinkles in it; even so-called “wrinkle free” garments will wrinkle when stored in this manner.Finally, when we offered an exchange, she admitted that she is “obsessed with wrinkles“ and graciously accepted the exchange without complaint. For her to malign us like this after the fact is sad.We are a tiny, locally, woman-owned business, we are not CVS or Walgreens. Taking a return is a direct cost to us. We will give her the benefit of the doubt that she was unaware of this.We would like all shoppers to know that this is the first time in our 18-year history that we have received a public complaint of this type. We are proud to consistently receive 5 Star reviews not only on Google and Facebook but also on our hotel’s web site. image We love going to the Dana gift store! Kathleen, the owner of the shop, is very friendly, professional, and really cares about her customers! She always has a friendly greeting for people that walk into the shop. There are so many unique and special items in the shop. We bought clothing, glasses, jewelry, and other merchandise. I especially love the seashells and other unique decorations I can find there. As a small business owner, she really takes pride in her shop, therefore all the merchandise is top quality. Whenever we go to San Diego, we love stopping by the Dana gift shop. The coffee that Kathleen makes tastes great and makes the whole experience very special.

image I LOVE this gift shop! The owner, Kathleen is so friendly and helpful. Her selection of handbags, jewelry (styles you will not find anywhere else!), cozy wraps, gorgeous scarves, hats, snacks, and more is amazing! It's a small shop, but the merchandise is beautifully displayed and well stocked. This is my favorite place to purchase one-of-a-kind Christmas and birthday gifts. Very reasonable prices too.
