      image Wish there was less stars for this honestly. Had republic for years with few problems, in the last year theyve now attempted to gouge us twice for services we dont receive. We are only contracted for dumpster services, in the last year Republic attempted to charge us outrageous fees for a green bin service (which we never used or requested and they never picked up) and most recently they tried to sneak in multiple charges for recycling bin removal which we dont even have and never requested (we bring in our own recycling and have never had a republic recycling bin). If youre in the San Diego backcounty area dont use Republic Ive heard from multiple residents in this area reporting similar issues with the company. In addition when we attempt to get the issues resolved our rep never gets back to us regardless of saying they return calls within 24 hours.

      image They have no concept of customer service...for a month I can not get them to return a phone call. And I'm a current customer. Went there today and told that due to COVID...the managers and their supervisors work from home. They have a record of my previous attempts to get a return call regarding an issue. No interest in resolving it.

      image Terrible service. I have been trying to get my Dad's account cancelled because he is on a fixed budget. Republic Services never has the "right person with more authority" to talk to regarding cancelling an account. Also in the past they categorized my father as a commercial account when he is clearly a residential account. I just want my father's account cancelled but have been stuck in a loop now for over two months. I highly recommend that people avoid this company.

      image Their dumpsters are COVERED with graffiti and the fact that they do NOTHING increases the spread. Really poor customer service.
