Let me start by saying I normally only write good reviews, I think bad reviews are passive aggressive. With that being said, Seko was the company that world market contracts with to deliver heavy items. First off you pay 70$ for this surcharge. We just bought a home and I was having a new dining table delivered on Monday, I strategically planned to have my dining table in time for thanksgiving, so excited! Then the truck shows up. They have one man delivering heavy freight objects. All over the box ( which weighs over 300 pounds and is at least 10 feet long) it says in large letters " TWO PERSON LIFT REQUIRED," Every review on the cost plus website stated how heavy this item is, and that two people are needed. So I watch this one man attempt to take this box off the truck, with a regular sized dolley at that!!! Fed ex uses a large crate carrying dolley for heavy items!! Not seko! This poor man is struggling with my table as I watched in horror. He does manage to get it to the ground, off the lift, but then the entire table/box comes crashing off his Dolley into my front porch with a loud CRACK! Needless to say I was on the phone with cost plus before I even opened the item, and to no surprise here, there was a huge chunk cracked into the side of the table that hit the porch. So , now no dining table for thanksgiving, and a huge box sitting in my living room waiting to be picked up from the same company. When I asked the driver why they sent one person for an obvious two person job, he literally shrugged and said " that's how our company works." DO NOT USE SEKO FOR YOUR DELIVERY NEEDS!!!! And shame on cost plus for using such a careless company, who doesn't value the safety of their workers or the items for their customers. **And for those wondering, no I didn't help because I'm 8 months pregnant and my doctor would kill me**
