Pelican Sportfishing

Just finished up with a inshore trip, caught multiple different species and had a wonderful experience. Super excited for the next trip with shaun.

Shaun was amazing and we had a great trip. The boat was comfortable and Shaun did a great job of finding the fish and helping us with the gear. It was such a fun time. My wife and I will certainly book again if we come back to San Diego.

Shaun truly provided the best experience for us! Our goal was to fill the freezer, and he made it happen! He was extremely friendly and communication was 100%. We got on the fish and he was able to keep up with four of us reeling in as fast as we could! I also appreciate his family- friendly attitude and atmosphere, as our 2 kids were fishing with us. He explained all the details before and during the excursion so we knew right what to do. And a HUGE thanks for filleting our fish and going above and beyond to drop it off to us, as I got sea sick and needed to take care of myself. Even though I became sick, I would use the patch and go out again with this fabulous small business! I would give 10 stars if I could!! Thank you so much!

We recently took a 5 hour day trip with Pelican and it was worth every penny. Booking, getting licenses, linking up with Captain Noah, and getting to the boat was incredibly simple. They make the process fool proof (which was great since I had two rowdy 12 year olds and my FIL). Shaun maintained good comms with us and made sure we had what we needed. Captain Noah was awesome. He was patient with the boys and their hundreds of questions. The fishing went alright, mostly whitefish, but Noah kept the trip moving and everyone had a blast. Paying was also incredibly simple. Whether you live in SD like us, or are visiting, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Pelican. It is particularly good for kids as they get that one on one instruction(how to bait, how to filet, why in season matters, etc.). Just a rad experience overall, we will be booking again for tuna season. Thanks Gents, Cheers!!

Took a 4 hour trip with Shaun and it was absolutely fantastic. Shaun put us on the fish right away and we caught fish the entire time. The highlight of the trip was my sons catching two leopard sharks, so cool. We caught 10 different species of fish! Shaun was so knowledgeable, fun and worked so well with the kids! Highly recommend!
