I have been a patient of Dr Anand for just over a month and am very happy so far with the care I am receiving from her and the Direct Primary Care model overall. I came to Health Matters Direct because I was frustrated by the 2-week wait times to see the primary care doctor at my HMO. And, when I did get to see her, she was only able to spend 10 minutes with me. During my first appointment with Dr Anand she spent over an hour with me, learning about my family history and my specific concerns. She listened, answered questions, and explained things. I felt "seen". As a result of this visit, she figured out that I was being prescribed the wrong medication and gave me some next steps for my specific issue. She then proactively followed up with me 2 weeks later to see how I was doing (and I'm doing much better). Since then, we have emailed back and forth a couple of times. I particularly appreciate her responsiveness and the timeliness of that response. She has put me on the right path to wellness.

I just paid an invoice $18.86 through Health Matters DPC for my annual routine bloodwork. That was it! The total was so much less expensive. In past years, I've budgeted to expect to pay LabCorp $200-300 for my routine labs every year even as "cash pay" or when running it through a high-deductible commercial health insurance plan. I am so pleased with my switch to this DPC membership. It is vastly more efficient in terms of time and money that Dr. Anand can provide the service for basic labs through her practice!

Its wonderful to have a relationship with your actual dr and not a revolving staff. Dr Heiken is available , warm, and listens. So pleased we switched to private care.
