Roz and Adam are the team that has helped me navigate the administration, protection and distribution of my parents trust assets. Both have provided much needed guidance in my role as the trustee. Roz especially has been helpful in providing clarification, marshalling of all the trust assets, performing the proper accounting and other transactions to close the trust properly. Roz often tells me that Its my job in response to me expressing my thanks for the numerous times shes assisted me with anything and everything. I feel that not only is Roz doing her job, but she is going above and beyond by providing much needed support in the role of a trustee. Grateful to have found SDELC and equally thankful for Roz and Adam.

We were referred to San Diego Elder Law Center by a friend of mine and were specifically referred to Carly Surber Maganuco. We had a long phone conversation with Carly and the subsequently had her review all of our trusts, wills and financial statements. Then we met with Carly in person for 90 minutes and she gave us an education on what we could expect in the future and where she could help. We paid $350 for the consultation and my father said it was the best $350 Ive ever spent. Carly was honest and straight forward and told us that we had all the documentation set up correctly and there was little she could do to help us today but she told us when we should contact her for help in the future
It was very relieving to meet a lawyer with such integrity and honesty and it honestly lifted a weight off our shoulders knowing we had found an expert who we could trust to help us navigate some of the challenges ahead. I have already referred Carly to two other people I know who were looking for help and I feel much more confident that I will be able to assist my parents as they are because I now have Carly at my side
I would highly recommend Carly to anyone seeking assistance and it was a true pleasure to work with her

I recommend the San Diego Elder Law Center highly, and Attorney Carly Surber Maganuco, and assistant Rosaline Kovacs. They helped us with executing and managing my parents estate, and helped with conservancy for my mother. All went flawlessly. They are expert at what they do; professional, courteous, helpful and prompt. Top notch folks. I am glad to have them on my side.

I highly recommend Scott Templeton at SD Elder Law Center. He has helped us to discuss care and considerations for my aging mother in law with dementia, as well as helping us with our own estate and trust.
We just finished reviewing our family trust and will and POAs with Scott Templeton at SD Elder Law Center. Scott was wonderfully patient and reviewed all of my many questions, explained the "legalese" required in these documents and all of the many ways in which he worded the trust to protect us and enable us the freedom to do what we will want to do with our money in the future, but reassuring us that the money will be there for our daughter, my mother in law who has dementia and lives with us, as well as discussed ways to help to ensure my nephew with special needs is cared for as well. Ours is not a simple scenario and he considered everything we told him in the pre-meetings and created a solid trust for us that I know will help us and our family when it is needed. Unlike many lawyers, he considers the many "what ifs" and ensures there are back ups to our first choices in case something happens. He has seen things go to trial or end up in probate that would not have if the trust or will had been better written or considered the "what ifs".
