Happened to be in this neighborhood and figured I would stop in and compare prices. Not only did I meet two awesome people (Mike & Josh) I got a deal like I have never had before.

Better prices that Piedmont and faster quote reply and turn-around time too.I emailed my quote (tip, don't use the quote feature on the main website, it's routed to HQ and they suck at replying. Instead, use the Contact page and email your request directly to the SD location) and was met with a reply from Mike Russell almost immediately. They beat their competitors prices by about 20-45 dollars a sheet depending on thickness, and they make free cuts, whereas others charge. Total turn-around from email to pickup was about 24 hours.The only downside is a 3% charge for credit/debit card purchases, but they do accept check.All-in-all, great experience, and I'll be back for more.

I've come to Port Plastics multiple times with obtaining Gr10 Fr4 laminate. I love how they are local and are readily available for questions. Mike, is just phenomenal in helping out. His response times are super quick. I totally forgot to request tech specs when I picked up the material and he emailed them to me that very day.

I needed Gr10 Fr4 with various thicknesses.  They had it plus a lot of other laminates.I worked with Mike on a few occasions and he has helped me obtain the right sizes of material I needed.  He responds to his email quite frequently. I forgot to request tech specs in person and he emailed it right over.

Don't waste your time with the competition. First time customer and impressed with how friendly and helpful these guys were, no attitude, just willingness to help even novices like myself. There's no retail showroom, just an office off the side of the warehouse, but they'll take you back and help you find what you need for your project. You can choose from scraps "remnants", or full pieces, and they'll cut it for you. Their prices were very reasonable and worth the drive to Mira Mesa.
