Walnut Avenue Dentistry

Our current dentist recently stopped taking Anthem Blue Cross, therefore we worked with Anthem to find a dentist that was covered. We called Dr. Martinez office (Walnut Dentistry) after researching reviews and background to schedule our appointments, the front office confirmed they accepted our insurance. Unfortunatley, we have had three appointments and have not seen Dr. Martinez once. No explanation from anynoe at the office, they just gave us a dentist we had never heard of with no explanation. The most frustrating part is that the other dentist is out of network so now were getting stuck with large bills. Turns out Dr. Martinez works one day a week and is impossible to get an appointment with. Perhaps they should not be marketing themselves as this doctor when they have no intention of actually scheduling you with her. Responding to Martinez's response: No accountability or reasons for switching our dentist when we clearly scheduled the appointment with you. No apologies for the time it took to contact my insurance and your reception to sort out the bills - about 2 hours today. Yes this happened today and still is not financially resolved. I imagine it will take a few weeks. You are in the office today because Tuesdays are the one day a week you are available. Just asking for some transparency and accountability. I'll sit by and wait for this billing mess to hopefully be resolved. Clear lack of concern on your part.

My dentist closed his office and I switched to Walnut Avenue Dentistry. My experience has been wonderful. Everyone there is friendly and professional. And, I really am grateful to the hygienists who appear to be perfectionists with cleaning! The dentists are great and gentle. Have only been there a few times so far but am pleased with their expertise and kindness so far!
