image This is my first Google review. I decided for this year to finally address the truth of business so as to warn others. I do not write this lightly, it saddens me, but people have a right to know.
I contacted this center via email after reading their "mission" statement and watching the many "feel-good" videos they have on their website about people they've helped who had Denti-cal or No money to pay.
Their website states: "Our goal is to ensure our senior patients achieve and maintain long-term oral health, regardless of their ability to pay for services"
BULL! I have Medicare/Medical and it pays $4,000 and they WOULD NOT accept it! Their website posts about the dangers of bacteria from tooth decay, and how it is dangerous as it can get into the blood and infect the body.
I wrote them that I had Diabetes, High Blood Pressure and Neuralgia from tooth decay, had lost all my front teeth, and have been developing abscesses due to infections. THEY DID NOT CARE! Despite saying they take patients on Denti-Cal, Medi-Cal or can't pay, THEY REFUSED TO TREAT ME!!!
The bottom line: they may have started out helping seniors like me but they have probably gotten so much money now that they no longer bother to treat the kind of patients they crow proudly on their website about helping!
I am a Navy Veteran, 65yo in desperate need of dentures and need the teeth in my mouth that have old metal fillings rotting in them producing bacteria and daily pain extracted. THEY REFUSED TO HELP ME AT ALL!
THEY ARE 100% FRAUDULENT, AS THEY DO NOT HELP SENIORS LIKE ME.
Even though my healthcare can pay them FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS! $4,000 they say they "don't take" my kind of healthcare insurance!!!!
The EXACT insurance they SAY ON THEIR WEBSITE THEY TAKE!!
MY REBUTTAL TO THEIR ANSWER:
A Health care coordinator sent me an email in answer to my inquiry telling me she would let me know what they could do.
I had my healthcare provider contact them DIRECTLY and they told THEM they WOULD NOT accept the $4,000 coverage from Medicare.
The reply that they have put here is a LIE as AT NO TIME HAVE I BEEN OFFERED ANY "HELP" including a "Sliding Scale" which is based on income which is NOT what their mission statement states! The ONLY profanity I used was the word Bull----
which is the word that APTLY describes their LIES INCLUDING the answer they posted here.
IF and WHEN they ever ACTUALLY offer me ANY help. I WILL update this review accordingly. Notice that the "owner" DELIBERATELY did NOT reveal their name!!
UPDATE: The Program Director for the center called me and alleged that they did NOT receive the call from Molina at all!
LIE #1 Then she proceeded to tell me that because my email was "abrasive" and used "foul language" (when I wrote their statements on the website were "BULL" which is the ONLY "profanity" I used), she DOES NOT WANT TO provide me with service because she "is concerned for the safety and well-being of her staff" BULL! This is an easy out: 1)Deny being offered healthcare 2)Claim to be concerned about staff safety from a 65yo woman!
However THAT IS NOT THE TRUE REASON! Because while she ended the call with that excuse, the FACT is she didn't like that I said it was HYPOCRISY when she confirmed that they would NOT accept the $4,000 from my Medi-Cal but would be happy to CHARGE me according to my income!
That doesn't even make sense! They refuse $4,000 then want ME to pay when I only have SSA and some pt work as a Shopper.
Their ENTIRE WEBSITE acknowledges that it is difficult for Seniors to get dental care because dentists won't take Denti-Cal & Medi-Cal, they criticize OTHER dentists then turn around and DO THE EXACT SAME THING! They even post an article about a law (SB 1464) THEY are trying to help get passed to address this problem. HYPOCRISY : 1. the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform; pretense: The "danger" that I present is THIS review which threatens their money by EXPOSING them!
