Western Dental Center: Gonzalez Alberto DDS

My expectations were set when I called to confirm the appt time and I was told there could be up to a 3-Hr wait from your scheduled appt time to when you are actually seen. This was disheartening (shocking?) but I was informed I could check in early in an attempt to be seen earlier (on time?). So I checked in 45 min ahead of my scheduled 11:00am time and was pleasantly surprised when I was called back only 30 min after my scheduled appt time. However, the appt itself was also a time-consuming process that left no time for what I actually needed done (a cleaning). Because I was establishing care it was required for me to take x-rays and photos of my teeth which is understandable but what I do not understand was the down time between these tasks. Each time I was waiting for 10+ minutes before seeing the next professional as part of the process. Finally, the dentist came in to review my images and discuss my plan of care which included a deep cleaning of my teeth. She then left and I waited 15 min before the administrator came back to my exam room to let me know that there was not time to clean my teeth as the dentist was going to lunch (at this point it was nearly 2 hours past my scheduled appt time). She offered me another appt 3 hrs later for the teeth cleaning. I declined as I had already sunk a considerable amount of time just waiting in the office vs. receiving care and I will likely never go back to a Western Dental again. I will say the professionals were kind and polite but it is just insane to me to spend 3 hrs at a doctors office and leave without achieving the goal of the appt.

I'd told them because I have metal in my shoulder that I need to be premedicated. If not + then I run RISK of an infection. They ignored it, took me back to look...then just proceeded doing dental work. Dentist was rough. And rude. I should've RAN out of there but didn't. Ended up at dentist in another area. NOT Western Dental!! New dentist had to put me on STRONG ANTIBIOTICS for weeks as I had extreme infection from Western DENTALS negligence !

I didn't want to even put no star but that's the only way l could post all Western Dental Offices are the same rude unprofessional the Drs are rough when looking in ur mouth l stopped going to any western dental places long ago l advise other ppl to do the same they need to be put out of business or closed down

Had an appointment this morning and when I arrive they tell me the x ray machine is down so they have to reschedule. This is the 2nd time they had to reschedule this appointment. I asked why they didn't call and she said she was getting ready to, 3 minutes before my appointment? Pretty unprofessional. Won't be scheduling again with them.
