Monroe's Market & Deli

That was the best sandwich I have had in San Diego. The ingredients were all fresh. Bread was crunchy outside and soft on the inside. Strong work. I will be back very soon.

A bunch of wonderful guys!!! The woman in the deli R really nice too!! :) They've always been so kind to my family (Susan) and brother (Budda) we all appreciate your kindness!!! :)) Vegetarian options: They have different sandwiches and subs that are for vegetarian and non vegetarian so that's awesome!! Dietary restrictions: Well it's not a big cooperation so they take their time on making what you need. And it's like a lil mom and pop store so you know those r the BEST!!! :))

I just had one of the rudest, most blatant experiences of discrimination. I entered the store, looking for cream cheese & couldnt find it, so I asked the ladies behind the deli counter. One says We should! and goes to look for herself. She doesnt see any so she asks a man stocking the shelves, who could either be a manager or the owner, if theres any more cream cheese in the back. He turns around, looks me up and down, and then answers No. He didnt bother checking and there is no reason to do a head to toe scan of me with your eyes and THEN answer. It was even more obvious because the ladies behind the counter started giggling.
