    I have used G6 sensors for a couple years and have been happy with them till I decided to switch to G7 sensors. They are not accurate (3 out of 4 sensors I used). They wake me up with false low readings (below 60) 2-3 times a night. One minute the reading was 45 which triggers an alarm. The next reading was over 80! The blood glucose values just zig zag. Recalibrations do not seem to fix it. I wanted to switch back to G6 but Dexcom only allows to replace G7 sensors with G7 sensors. (If G7 were that good, I wonder why Dexcom would not allow swapping G7 sensors for G6 sensors). I cannot order a new batch of G6 sensors because I just ordered 3 months worth of G7 sensors and had to wait 3 months for the next order! So don't make the mistake I made switching to G7. G7 sensors are not what they advertise.

    Poor product development. Multiple issues with multiple G7 replacements. Would find an alternate product. Buyer beware of other options with more ACCURATE readings. There will be a class action down the line

    I switched from G6 to G7 48 hours ago. The sensor and warm up are fantastic. The G-7 app I have had difficulty with it getting my alarms back where I can hear them. The way the app comes by default, I could not hear my alarms unless the phone was right up to my ear and on speakerphone. Scared me that I would not have alarms to wake me. Up. Finally figured it out how to get my alarms back. But, still experimenting with the new additional alarms/settings. I was happy with the simplicity of the G6 app. But, Dexcom tried to please everyone all in one package. I wish that the new app did not have Clarity included in the one app. People could have just opened the stand alone Clarity app. Overall too cluttered and too bloated for many who need to keep things simple. So, overall a positive development for many but overwhelming for some. I was able to figure it out and it is workeable for me. But, not quite the way I would like it.

    If I could give a 0 for customer service I would. The batch of dexcom 7's I just got in December have all burned my skin along with completely just falling off my arm. I was on the phone for over an hour and he didn't even finish the problem with 1 dexcom let alone the 5 others that had done this. All I wanted was replacements and I would send the ones I have left, he then told me a supervisor would call me and never did. For the price you pay for medical equipment it is insane that no one will help when there is a problem. And they apparently want you to keep every single sensor and applicator if there is ever an issue with reactions or sensor fails just so everyone knows. I also sent in photos of the burns on my arm and what the sensor looked like after it fell off and I got a confirmation email but he said he never got it. Literally the worst customer service I have EVER experienced.
