I go to best buy all the time. A few years ago i got an expensive computer that had a faulty screen but during covid the geek squad said it will be a 3 momth long wait to get my computer worked on. Its so heavy I didnt want to try again. Now my hard drive crashed and thry cant fix it. Refered me to a questionable place.

Very unhelpful. You are much better off with youtube tutorials and a quick Ebay search.
They neither had replacement part, nor sourced it, nor can even repair a simple motherboard socket or have any other boards instock to purchase from...
I asked for a 4th gen Mobo they can sell me cause I see a cheap I7-k model CPU I can buy but need mobo...couldnt do it. Asked for 9th gen mobo for sale...couldn't do it. Asked for repair of my own motherboard socket that has a few bent pins... they couldnt do it.
Idk what they do to be honest. Very indifferent and unhelpful staff. 0/5 if possible. Whole time they were trying to rush me off the phone.

Hector and his team at Selectronic are first class. I have been coming to them for years, and when something out of the norm comes up on my Computer I know there are the team to fix it. This last time I came in with an issue that was causing my PC to freeze up. They were able to work through the issue and able to provide solutions quickly.
