Linda Vista Church of Christ

Great place to bring your family. The preacher preaches and teaches sound Doctrine. Whenever I am in Linda Vista I always make it a chance to come by. If you would like to know more about the Church of Christ all you have to do is let him know and they will be more than happy to sit down with you and have a study. It is very important for you to know the difference between truth and error.

This church service was amazing! Bilingual English and Spanish service.  Prayer, bible study, said in English,  then immediately into Spanish.  Church members are very friendly and welcoming. I can tell they are  close to each other and supportive. It was refreshing to see active young leaders and everyone is involved.  Everyone is singing with their hearts, and seem to be truly God loving God  fearing.  I wish I lived nearby I'd join membership immediately. Took great notes to study, spirit of God is here!  And how wonderful. Please keep it up my Brothers and Sisters!

I enjoy this church very much. Not a large congregation, perhaps between two and three dozen worship here. But the love is strong and the word is bold and courageous. The minister, Joel Villa, preaches straight from God's word and just like the Bible doesn't slip punches or use fluff like some that I hear on television these days, or even in some churches unfortunately. They take the Lord's Supper weekly (communion) as did the Apostles in the New Testament, sing weekly (they don't need or use instruments, their vocal cords are the instruments), pot luck once a month, and of course pray continuously. They are a very loving group, prayerful, and often the minister will simultaneously preach God's word in both English and Spanish. This actually gives me time to write down notes since I do not understand Spanish. So I take the time to jot down scripture that he mentions or whatever else I want to notate. I like the smaller setting that the church offers. While they cannot afford expensive ministries, they are always willing to help each other out. A very nice place to worship and yes, I recommend it.
