This business consulting entity is worthwhile.  The courses are easy,  straight to the point and taught by those in meany diefferent fields.  Being able to learn from professions in a plain spoken setting with others is beneficial in many different ways.     The costs to attend are low and if you need to be mentored it is possible at no additional cost.   Being guided by successful business persons is of great benefit to the community and those new to the business world.

I was blown away when I learned about SCORE. I'd lived here in SD for 20 years and never imagined I had a network of highly successful people willing and excited about supporting my dream. When you think about the American Dream, you think about entrepreneurship and real opportunity for small businesses. Until learning about SCORE San Diego I didn't really think I could pull off founding a company...and not failing. I've worked with a couple mentors who were both excellent (for FREE!). I also took 3 courses that were staffed by equally knowledgeable subject matter experts for $25/course (a STEAL!). All interactions were extremely positive and impactful. They created a scaffolding that I could build my business upon. If you are considering making the leap to entrepreneurship, know it won't be without a significant investment of time (more than you imagine), money and energy. But also know you're not alone and you CAN do it as long as you have good coaches in your corner and a will to succeed.
