Everything stated in the previous review by Nissa was our experience as well for the same individual. I'm so appalled by the lack of integrity from this facility. We spent over 8 hours in contact with Pacific Bay- setting up treatment.
Their coordinator Jacob actually tried to blame my husband and I by saying we hadn't placed a card down when it was all made perfectly clear we would sign that upon her arrival to the detox facility. For a place who was about to charge us $1000 for her care for ONE DAY, you'd think a little compassion and follow through would be had. This employee had the audacity to tell us this business ghosted us with our friend outside their detox facility because he had to catch a flight and blames us! While its perfectly fine he has a personal life to attend to but why ghost us for over 30 hours! Why was our contact information not given to the nurse, to the director of admissions as he claims they were up, and aware. There were zero phone calls to us or to our friend who was being admitted. It wasn't just him that let us down- it was all the way to the director of admissions.
Thank god for a local community member here at THRIVE in Las Vegas (where I reside) that hooked us up with contact information for a recovery center that communicated and was able to get her admitted the next day (thank you-- North Bound Treatment) After a costly air bnb and uber ride because of this facilities lack of follow through we could have lost someone dear to us who was in crisis. For that reason I would never recommend this business and I hope they learn to accept responsibility. To this day no one in admissions or the director contacted us with even a single apology. Shame.

I recently had a horrific experience with Pacific Bay Recovery. For such a reputable place (according to an almost 5 star rating on google reviews) this is incredibly disappointing. A friend of mine has been struggling with substance abuse and suicidal ideation. We were helping them to get detoxed and then the plan was to find a rehabilitation center for them. Pacific Bay was one of the first I called. Their representative, Jacob Alonzo, and I spoke in length about their program - which seemed amazing and very therapeutic! Because I had to travel later in the day I passed Jacob’s details to my friends who were also supporting with the situation. They worked with Jacob on all the specifics needed to admit our friend, and then literally Jacob ghosted them!!! Our friend who needs help was outside of their facility waiting for hours to be let in. We were given communication by the center *and* Jacob that they has the green light but yet no one came to get them! For anyone dealing with addiction this is one of the worst things that can happen. Their services sound great and I wish I could know more but as you can see we only got as far as we could because of their terrible, misleading, inconsistent and unreliable communication. The next day - Today! - I called the center to tell them what happened. They said they would call Jacob and get back to me / and they never did! I contacted Jacob and he is ignoring/ghosting me too! And people wonder why there are so many people dealing with addiction and mental illness on the streets. This total lack of professionalism from Pacific Bay is embarrassing, and there needs to be accountability. My friend could be dead because of their unresponsiveness. Luckily we were able to get them to another (more responsive) rehab. Beware if you’re considering going to these folks for help! I would give negative stars if I could.
