I have bought and sold 8 homes in my life and have never had such a great realtor. Colin arranged for contractors to meet us at the house all at the same time to get multiple bids for flooring and painting. He also arranged for estate sale companies to meet with us all on the same day and timeframe. It was so convenient. We never even had to list the house in the multiple listings as he had a buyer as soon as other realtors knew it was about to be listed. We got top dollar. Colin is also a very nice person and professional. He kept in touch with us on a regular basis. I would give him ten stars if that was an option.

I would work with Colin Farris and his team for any real estate project and unreservedly recommend that others do as well. As a resident of San Clemente, it is almost inevitable that we know a number of real estate agents, several of whom I consider to be great individuals and talented at what they do. So how do you choose? In our case, Colin introduced himself to my wife and I more than 7 years ago when he had sold a home in our neighborhood, and I immediately had the impression that he was a serious and knowledgeable person - and a good guy as well. At the time, we had no thoughts of moving and no needs for an agent so our conversation was all theoretical, but I told him to keep in touch since I figured the day would come. Over the ensuing 7 years, we spoke every 6 months or so as he checked in and as we considered a number of options with buying, selling, renting, etc. Over that period, he always did his research and delivered responses that were on the money and served our needs as opposed to chasing a commission. I felt that I got to know him as a professional and a person, so I committed to him several years back that he would get the call when the time came. (perseverance does pay off). When it came time to sell our home in San Clemente (Forster Highlands) this year, Colin was the ultimate guide, advocate and representative. He was patient with our changes of direction and delays (and incessant failed comedy) while always putting our needs first. Face it, the market is hot right now and there is lots of chatter about real estate agents having it easy, but doing things the right way in the real world is never straightforward, and throughout the process, Colin was always proactive, calm, on target with his counsel and most importantly was completely focused on our needs as a family. Needless to say, the transaction was a success. The advice was always sound, even when our impulses may have been naive or off track, he was confident enough to help us understand the process and regain the footing to make the right choices. If you are looking for the realtor of your dreams look no further. Just contact Colin Farris! After a grueling two years nursing my only son, I inherited his very neglected house and dreaded the selling process. From our first encounter Colin delved deep into the case and never got distracted by competing priorities. He was especially good at always keeping me in the loop regarding developments, and patiently helping me with the challenging "disclosure" process. He also worked cooperatively with my out-of-town referral realtor and together they bent over backwards to protect my interests in the sale. A distressed property was sold in less than three weeks at an excellent price, thanks to Colin's diligence from beginning to end. My husband and I had the most amazing home buying experience with Colin Farris. We recently purchased our first home in Dana Point after Colin was recommended to us. Throughout the whole process, he was, informative, honest and a very clear communicator. We felt that he had our best interests at heart through the looking and escrow process. Buying a new home is scary in this market, especially as a first time buyer, but Colin made us feel well taken care of. He clearly runs his business with integrity and is respected among his peers. He knows the South Orange County area extremely well and was so helpful when deciding between different neighborhoods. When we couldnt find exactly what we were looking for, he used his connections to magically find us the perfect home that wasnt even on the market.
