Rodeway Inn San Clemente Beach

Nothing really special to make this hotel stand out how many others. It was nice, it was clean, it was easy to find.

Really nice staff and nice clean rooms. It's in a good location by the beach and close to all the restaurants and downtown area. I've been coming here a long time. It's nice and affordable. And great wifi. Rooms: The rooms are big. Small fridge and microwave. There's even a hairdryer and an iron and ironing board. Nice and clean. Nearby activities: This is in a good location. Away from traffic but still close to all downtown has to offer. Safety: This is a nice, safe area. As is all of San Clemente. Walkability: It only take 15 minutes to walk downtown. The North Beach trail is close by to walk to the Pier. Everything is accessible.

We found a half-eaten cheeseburger behind one of the beds upon arrival. The staff was very disrespectful many times towards my husband and I. They called us kids after asking for another room key because ours stopped working. I am very offended by the staff. The service and cleanliness were not at all impressive. Rooms: Unless you want to find leftover food from other vacationers behind you bed, I would suggest finding another place to stay.
