William J Capobianco, D.D.S.

I saw Dr. Capobianco after a few unpleasant experiences with other dentists in the area! He and his staff were so welcoming and provided a wonderful experience! I have a missing filling (from one of the previous dentists) but I am also expecting twins! Dr. Capobianco did a full exam and after determining that the area is not sensitive or bothering me, he recommended that we wait until after delivery! I was so impressed that he put my health, and the health of my unborn babies, before his pocket book! I saw his dental hygienist (Laura) today for a cleaning and she was equally amazing! I am so happy that I have found a great new team to help care for my teeth! I would highly recommend this office!

This review is only regarding William Capobianco DDS, not the staffZERO stars. BEWARE OF COSMETIC DENTISTRYMy family went to this dentist for about 15 years for cleanings. I would say it was just fine. Of course that was mostly due to the hygienist and you can go to most dentists for a good hygienist. When my teenage daughter broke a front tooth we went to Bill Capobianco. In 2016 he said she needed a veneer. (She had it patched for 6 years and it looked fine, not great but fine.) He said that she needed a veneer and we thought we could get it done before her HS Junior year started. He assured us that is was good timing.  He said she didn't need root canal so she was in extreme pain after the tooth was filed down for the veneer. SO HE FILED THE TOOTH DOWN PUT A TEMP COVER ON IT AND THEN WENT ON VACATION FOR WEEKS!!I actually could not believe it. The temp cover would fall off frequently and then she started school. He still wasn't back from his travels. Why he couldn't wait to start this painful process until he returned I have no idea. Ok so we finally are done (we also had to drive to and from the lab in Irvine multiple times because it was so difficult to get right). She has been VERY careful with that tooth because it's soooo sensitive. It hurts her all the time.  And NOW today she's in college called me this morning sooo upset the damn veneer FELL OUT! She's in pain. The veneer didn't even last 4 years. It was extremely expensive, was not ever comfortable and did not last the 15/20 years that he said it would. It was a really horrible experience and my daughter never got an apology. His staff was very apologetic and they were so sweet but some people feel that they do no wrong. Immediately after that experience we switched dentists and I can promise there are some amazing trustworthy dentists in this area.

Isn't great to find a dentist you actually look forward to seeingYup, he is that good... and so is his staff.  Trust me!

Our whole family (of 4) goes to Dr. Capobianco. Our grown kids don't even live locally and they feel it is worth the travel.  My husband and I  moved to San Clemente almost three years and good friends here referred us to him.  Of all the referrals they gave us to various  different types of doctors - he is by far our favorite one - we all love him and his staff.  He goes beyond the norm to make sure you are comfortable, happy with the results and you leave feeling well taken care of.  Can't say enough good things about him.  I've had a lot (!) of dental work over the years, and I really feel like he doesn't overdo replacement work, wants you to feel cosmetically happy and you don't feel like he is doing any more than necessary for good dental health and an attractive confident smile. I highly highly recommend him.
