Dr. McDonough saw me for an emergency tooth ache I was having. She quickly found out a filling I had done over 20 years ago had broken and fell out. Dr. McDonough laid out the possible scenarios of the treatments that may be required prior to any work performed. I felt very informed and comfortable after hearing the thorough explanations. We decided to try to replace my damaged filling and she continued the informative narration of what she was doing and why the whole time. Dr. McDonough's numbing skills were absolutely impeccable, she should teach other dentists her technique! I didn't feel a thing throughout the whole process. Her assistant was attentive and expertly provided everything necessary during the process usually without even Dr. McDonough asking for it. They have honed their skills together and absolutely provided the best experience I've ever had in a dental chair! Thank you Dr. McDonough!

I found Dr McDonough through a recommendation at an orthodontist. I was having pretty extreme dental anxiety from some bad experiences. I was very straight forward with McDonough about it and she made me feel SO much better. She always goes above and beyond to make sure Im comfortable and informed of everything. She cares for her patients overall well-being. I always leave feeling relieved and educated on dental health. I dont even live in San Clemente anymore but Im more than happy to drive an hour to see Dr McDonough. Thank you x10000
