We planned our Saturday around going to this showroom based on the good reviews here in Yelp, but unfortunately no one was there even though they were supposed to be open. There was an interesting gentleman selling random things on the sidewalk in front of Z2 who claimed to live in the upstairs above it, and he told us no one had been in the place for over 2 years.  Would be really nice if people actually update their business info so people don't waste their time. It's also a shame if they weren't able to remain in business like so many other good ones out there.

I visited Z2 to see if it would have any vinyl flooring for bathrooms. Three months later, we have two new bathrooms, a new kitchen, and a new friend. Here are some highlights and anecdotes. 1) Lynn was very warm and patient from the start, never pushy. To save time, she taught me what measurements to take. She was able to provide a drawing quickly. 2) She made sure that I brought my wife for final review of each decision and choice. When my wife gave her a clear guiding principle, Lynn happily went to work and promptly suggested materials and fixtures that we eventually selected. 3) When we were selecting kitchen cabinets, Lynn made honest recommendations, based on what we were looking for. There was no hint of up-sale, but always attention to detail. Case in point was what type of Shaker style cabinet door panels would not have paint crack lines after 3 to 5 years. 4) The contractor Lynn worked with, Mr. Huang, was honest, experienced, straight forward, and easy to work with. Lynn was up front about the fact that Mr. Huang does good work, but takes more time. When Mr. Huang forgot about our mirrors, Lynn and family personally delivered them--one mirror was 6 feet wide. Oh, and Lynn stops by to check on Mr. Huang's work, so that all of us are on the same page. 5) When Lynn found out that the cabinet we chose would emit severe chemical odors, she contacted us immediately and recommended an alternate manufacturer. She was up front and clear about the slightly higher cost and was firm on the quality of the cabinets. I'll stop here. Feel free to comment and ask questions. Amazing resource and best kept secret on the Peninsula. Went to literally dozens of showrooms and found Z2 to provide the best service and prices by far. Lynn does it all; she helped us pick out the tile and colors for our bathroom remodel project and we couldn't be happier with her suggestions and direction; she provided numerous quotes on various products like some gorgeous Grohe (German engineered) bathroom fixtures (still trying to talk my wife into getting these for our bathroom) she even helped me load our tiles into my car when my contractor were dragging their feet (seriously, she slapped on her work gloves and started lugging these heavy tile boxes into my trunk, I was very impressed). So yea, very hard working lady with a keen sense of fashion and design.Z2 doesn't have the biggest shop in the world, but you;d be hard pressed not to find something you like there and if by chance you don't, Lynn will do her best to get what you want, This was the case for us. There was an item that we saw online and we couldn't find it locally and Lynn was able to track down the local rep to carry the item in her shop; now how cool is that?   Our kitchen is also in need of a remodel and needless to say we'll be working with Z2 on that project also.
