This is really a 4 3/4 Star review. We updated our estate plan with Marisa, and she was great. Knows her stuff. Has an efficient process for getting info from us and translating that into a finished document. The missing 1/4 star is just because I felt a tiny bit rushed like I wasn't getting her answers quickly enough. I think this was due to tiny glitches in communication due to (a) a transition between paralegals and (b) Marisa trying to manage expectations on timing so clients don't just hang out there for many months. So, yes, definitely patronize this business! And if you are unclear on your "deadlines," just ask!

We recently updated our trust with Marisa, and the process was easy, and efficient. We'd highly recommend Marisa and her very capable staff. Having gone through a recent probate after the passing of a relative, updating, and modernizing our trust was our first priority.. It is just so important, and the Law Office of Marisa Nelson made it a truly pleasant experience.We wish we could give her 10 stars !!

Found Marisa and her team through a referral. They were very clear, detailed and responsive during the process. We had a ton of questions and they quickly replied with a thorough answer that made the process very seamless for us. Would highly recommend them !

My brother passed away in the Bay Area without a will, and his family all lives out of state. I was referred to Marisa because of her probate experience in the area. She skillfully guided us through the process of estate filing and distribution, including selling his house where her probate experience was especially value. The entire process took over a year because of COVID-related court closures. Marisa got things going as quickly as possible once the courts opened again. She was very responsive with all legal matters and even helped us find local resources needed to consolidate his belongs. She is a true professional and we give her our highest recommendation.
