The people dont seem bad so this isnt a review on them, but rather just San Brunos internet problem as a whole. Theyre outdated and need to let 3rd party companies back in. Competition is good for the consumer, not this monopoly the city has. Especially when the internet they provide to the majority of the city is trash. Max 300 Mbps download, and a measly 10 Mbps upload in 2024? Fast internet should be a right, not a privilege anymore

I think the high speed internet is excellent, and the folks who work there have always been polite and kind to me. As we know in my part of San Bruno, when a storm hits the power fails. San Bruno Cable always stays up. I can run 2 days on backup. The ISP never fails.

Horrible customer Service... Ooops What's Customer service means to them. Called Multiple times in different days and hours tried get to a live person to discussed the bills over the cancelled account over 3 months ago but still receiving invoice, but their isn't any response and AI answering programmed to simply hangup. Let's not talk about internet service as this page won't have room for me to write. What is this so call San Bruno City net service received funding to improve but how? I am glad I have got out.

The service is fine most of the time but they create their own problems and customer service is zombies who are not interested in win-win solutions. For example, my service was cut today with no warning because my autopay credit card expired. Warning email or text? Nope. I would have happily updated it to start current. When I told customer service that better communication could have avoided this problem altogether, I got defensiveness and a general "that's how we do it" response. No interest in improvement. Maybe they are just looking for the $40 recommend fees? They offered to waive mine and immediately hung up, so no idea what their goal was. Weird company.
