Tom and his assistant did a great job on our tree, for a great deal too. I've had a couple of other tree guys/companies in the past, including a very well established company (Tree Tech), but I wasn't as happy with those guys as I was with Tom. He seems more professional and able to follow instructions, work with me and advise about what's needed.

I have used Houck Tree Services on multiple occasions. I give them an Excellent, for the following reasons: 1) Tom, the owner, quoted me a fair price, and explained what I was paying for. -- Being an owner/operator, I imagine this is why his quote was also the lowest.. 2) Tom cut down the tree himself, and very fast. 3) Tom's crew cleaned up, there was no mess 4) Tom actually charged me less than the quote, saying it was easier than he had thought (I gave him the rest as a tip). 5) He didn't stop to drink beer, like the last tree service I hired.
