Brought in my 1960 Cadillac Hydramatic after trying another shop and getting nowhere. Dave had it completely rebuilt and back to me in a very short time. It was done right the first time and I'm on the road again. Dave kept me updated during the rebuild, showed me exactly what he was doing to it in the shop (and had the broken components to show where it was damaged), and tuned it to perfection after I installed it. My advice is don't do what I did, which was to take the transmission out myself, bring it to Dave still on the car! It's a good feeling knowing there are still some places where the professionals still care about what they do. It's called Fletcher's Transmission.

I made an appt for 0830 on Monday the 26th for my chrysler that had a pulled a code. No one answers the phone because I wanted to confirm so I drive all the way over in a car that was not reliable(my speed sensor failed) When I get there the gentleman tells me the other man had a bad back and couldn't come in, but I had an appointment. I get it things happen but did anyone call to cancel and reschedule, no! He said he could get me in tomorrow and I declined. When you deal with these small shops with no other mechs other than two older gentlemen this is what you get. I also think they prefer to work on older classic cars. My initial thoughts: unorganized, no consistent, nonchalant and a waste of time! Everyone isn't going to need a new transmission, some just need minor work. By the way I took my car to Transzen and got it done and at a great price with no diagnostic fee.
