3 hours holding on the phone, listening to that creepy music which gives me headaches. And still cant reach a person to talk to. Online chat service doesnt work either. Shows 1 person before you and hours later no response.
Solution: schedule an appointment (or not) and come in person.

Just wanna add my one star review to yours. This place is a joke. I'm a non-resident, was there for the military and (still) need help with some issues resulting from taxes California wants but aren't supposed to get because I'm not a resident (MSRRA Act). I try to get help after waiting for hours only for them to tell me to go to a tax professional, and hang up. This happened twice. This is apparently systemic and I was respectful. Aside from the fact that a government representative should never treat a citizen like that, I sleep good at night knowing I don't live in a state paying the salary of kinds of people.

Beyond garbage. Overseas military, on hold for four hours to get ahold of someone, just for them to immediately hang up upon being transferred (they didnt say anything either and I was constantly saying hello). Would give negative stars if possible. Fix your customer support lines. Atrocious and Ive dealt with many, many government agencies and can say this experience has proven to be the absolute worst. I tried to use every online option available to no avail so the site says to call the number. Overall Ive wasted ten hours trying, lost sleep, and they are still holding my money hostage. Lost cause.
