I applied for a medical license 18 months ago and have just been put off by staff who is always on vacation, had to refinger print because they sat on my case over a year and now they are requiring me to go to get an evaluation at one of three facilities of their choice, at my expense, 2 of which are out of state, before they reach a decision. I have been sober for 10 years and am about to lose my job because I cannot afford this facility in Malibu that they request I go to voluntarily before granting me a positive outcome on my PSG license.

The Medical Board of California uses the most crooked investigation department, which is in Valencia. The investigators are sneaky, underhanded, and dishonest. Investigators Ryan, Taylor, and their supervisor Christopher are liars. They lost my trust. Things were done behind my back. They weren't forthcoming. I don't recommend this office in Valencia. These people can not be trusted. I'm disappointed that the Medical Board of California uses this office in Valencia. The investigators lie and are unnecessarily cutthroat.

They look out for doctors not patients even when the doctors are scum. If they did their job malpractice lawyers would have a lot less work.

I had a referral to make an appointment with a podiatrist who consulted for the VA outpatient clinic in Oxnard. I had to cancel the referral due to the limited availability of a ride. I had my feet examined the following month by a resident at the West Los Angeles VA medical center. I found out the podiatrist had entered into my record that I had completed the appointment with him. He filed an evaluation by using my medical records that he had examined my feet. The notes included recommendations for treatment that were erroneous. I filed a complaint against him with the state of California medical board. I submitted a copy of the records that were available to me as evidence. I pointed out the fact that I hadnt on that or any other date been to an appointment with him. I had to wait over five months before the board made a decision. I received a form letter saying I hadn't met the burden of proof the podiatrist had departed from the standard of practice.
