InnovAge California PACE - Sacramento

Lifesavers! Helped my dad access services to stay in his home longer and when he could no longer live there safely, they took care of the arrangements to get him into affordable assisted living, something we thought was way out of his reach financially!

Pace sent in a request so I could get Medi-cal, then told me the Pace program has shut down for now and they would call me when it opens again. What I didn't know was all my mail from Cal Fresh was now going to their address. I missed my yearly update so my food stamps are cut off. I called the cal fresh office today and find this out. The lady was nice and reapplied for my cal fresh but it won't take effect until January 2022. I've lost 2 months of food stamps. And Innovage/pace will not take my calls. Thank goodness the program closed. I will keep what I now.

would give it 0 stars if I could. It has been the worst year for my mom having innovage. She previously had UC Davis with he medi-medi. Her friend talked her in to switching over to innovage. They bring her prescriptions to her and she can't get them from any pharmacy. They never bring them when she runs out. It takes 2 to 3 weeks while she has none to take. She had her 2nd stroke in June and was scheduled for surgery next week. Because innovage did not send the approval letter, her surgery is canceled. Had she still been at UC Davis, medi-medi would have done the surgery. She can have another stroke anytime without the surgery. She contacted Mr. Steve Jones many times and he never approved it as promised. Now he will not return her phone calls. They get 2,000 a month to "manage" prescriptions and appts/transport. My mom had a nuerolgy appt last week and the transported her late and they couldn't see her. She has waited up to three hrs after an appt to get picked back up. They are a fraud company and are preying on the elderly who are vulnerable. They should get investigated. I am going to try and find put what I need to do to make that happen. If my mom has another stroke before she can get her surgery, I see a lawsuit happening.
