I meet with attorney Kassouni at his satellite location in Los Angeles. As a developer, Kassouni Law is on my speed dial. They have provided advocacy in several instances when building departments and city councils have made it difficult to get plans off the ground. Without them, it's likely my residential and mixed use projects would still be stuck in bureaucratic quagmires. I was selective in searching for a land use and property rights attorney. Lawyer Timothy Kassouni is a heavy-hitter in this field. Upon reading his bio I knew I had the right person. He was involved in Lucas v South Carolina Coastal Commission, a case frequently mentioned in property law books. More recently, he prevailed in a regulatory taking action. This is unheard of in the property rights field. Without hesitation, I'd recommend Kassouni Law.

I've been working in land-use and regulatory law for almost a decade now, and Tim is one of the better lawyers I have worked with. Winning a property rights case against the government is hard, and the deck is often stacked against you, but I've seen Tim win those hard cases. More importantly, he actually believes in what he does. He doesn't take morally ambiguous cases. If Tim is working with you, it's because he believes you are in the right. Win or lose, he's honest and he fights. When I get calls on land-use issues from California, I usually send them to Tim.
