Comfort Expert Heating & Air Conditioning

I utilized this company through our home warranty policy. I received a very quick call back from Alex who I assume is the owner. During the winter months most HVAC companies are days behind schedule. He was able to get a technician out to the house within eight hours. Victor showed up at exactly the time promise. He was very polite and went right to work. Fortunately it was not a major issue, however, he quickly identified the problem and had the heater up and running within 20 minutes.The unit is approximately 25 years old and I'm sure it is on its last run. This is the first time in all the years that I did not have a technician try to sell me a brand new unit. This coupled with the fast response, professional demeanor, and quick repair motivated me to ride a very positive review.

They were hired through our home warranty company (Old Republic) to perform some repairs on our air conditioner. We had already had another company look at what needed to be done, so it was just a matter of them double-checking, ordering the parts, and doing the work. Everything went pretty smoothly, and now our A/C is working well. I only knocked off one star because I had to follow up a couple of times after the initial diagnostic to find out if they had ordered the parts, when they would arrive, and when the work was going to be done. Otherwise I'm very happy with them.

Never answers phone calls or texts until he thinks you owe him money. Horrible customer service.

We had another air conditioner repair company come out on three separate occasions to fix our leaky air conditioner.  They could not figure out why it was leaking.  Our landlord decided to call another company and Alex sent one of his technicians out.  He spent time going through everything and was able to diagnose and fix the issue in one visit. We are so thankful to not have water leaking out of our ceiling anymore! I highly recommend this company if you want someone who really knows what they are doing.

I would not recommend working with this company unless you get full authorization signed in writing before allowing them to perform the work.  I authorized one cost via text to the technician and when I got the invoice, he had tacked on another $100.  He said he would give me a deal and take $20 off and never did.  After going back and fourth a few times he threatened to lien the property.  Shady business and gouging prices.
