Blossom Village

This is now operating as an Airbnb. I want to start with the fact that the host refunded me without trouble, which I appreciate. DO NOT book this location if you value your safety and money. Here is what made me leave 5 minutes after arriving: -EXTREME overpowering chemical smell (I am a professional painter and have never smelled a paint smell of that intensity, especially since only one small area of the room was painted) -Thick puddle of wet paint pooled in bottom of shower pan, but no new paint anywhere else in the room (???) -Maintenance man was able to open the door to my room remotely with his phone (!!!) when I wasn't able to get in contact with the host. No lock or latch on the inside of the door (I would have left for this alone) -Scrapes, scuffs, chips in walls, fixtures, fridge -Dirt, footprints, paint chips, stains, and dents in the floor -Grime, stickiness on kitchen surfaces -Pictures falling off walls I have never had an experience like this on Airbnb. It was honestly shocking.

Quite ,staff ,staff is available anytime. Housekeeping is great. A great price for a small apt like room with stove and kitchen ware.

Great location, and the service from the host was great. Unfortunately, I booked this on airbnb, and this place is not quite an airbnb location. My mother told me if I have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all, so I will leave it at that and will not stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone reading this. Rooms: The rooms had a full kitchen, a bed and bathroom all which were clean but at the same time showed wear such as used incense sticks and cigarette burns in the bathroom area as well as flooring that was cracked and coming up in spots. The shower area was smaller than my travel trailer camper shower and the toilet is oddly 6 inches above the floor which was very uncomfortable and unusable for myself. The toilet also ran all night due to a faulty flap in the tank. The air-conditioning worked great and the bed was comfortable but I was unable to sleep due to the only security on the door being a single deadbolt which a child could probably kick in. No locking mechanism inside to keep you safe and you will feel the need like I did once I arrived to place things blocking the door. Nearby activities: Great area with options for food and parks close by make this a great location. Safety: I grew up in Brooklyn NYC during the 80s and 90s, this place felt as safe as taking the A train at 2am in 1988. The room has a single deadbolt that a child could kick in and it looked like it has happened in the past multiple times from the looks of the door frame. Walkability: I walked to eat at different places and even to the distillery close by which is worth the short walk. Food & drinks: Nothing available on site but there are options close by that are within walking distance. Noteworthy details: There were Waterbugs and cockroachs in the outdoor areas and when they came in under the door during the night due to a 1 inch gap that was all I needed to know I would not spend the next night here. I left and got a room at the Fairfield the for the next day and I may never use airbnb again due to this location.
