DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Sacramento

This property is going through renovations, the customer service compensates for any shortcomings that we encountered. Ritesh at the front desk, Bernie in the restaurant in May in the lounge were beyond exceptional. I do have to say May was my favourite. She hugged me when I needed it the most! I do recommend this property. It will take some time for them to work out the kinks of renovation and new ownership, but I think it is very promising.

Rooms are dirty. Sliding door is incapable of being secured from inside the room, aside from a rickety lock. There is NO A/C. I called front desk and requested assistance and was told there is no A/C in this hotel. I also have NO HOT WATER! I am here for a business trip, and I have to shower in cold water. I am a loyal Hilton customer, have been for years. And I have never been let down until now. The renovations look great in the lobby, but this hotel should be shut down while they deal with the main infrastructure issues. I am incredibly disappointed. Will not be booking here again.

Hot tub is out of service and the pool is disgusting! I dont think the goose would have let us get in even if we wanted. The room is HOT and there is no A/C!!!! The sliding glass door to the balcony will not open, so no way to let any fresh air in. No microwave

Be warned! ;) This newly remodeled hotel in a fantastic town and fantastic location is not full service (yet) for your events. They do not offer lunch as a restaurant or take out. But you can include catering with advance arrangements. I saw an event with in house catering. Great remodel and staff were lovely! I was particularly impressed with the acoustics of the event room, and the sound system. Thank you, Hilton, for investing in Sacramento! (Now get a dang lunch cart!)

Stayed here for four nights to celebrate my partners birthday. The location is great and near all the things we love in Sacramento. I wish we had booked with a different hotel because staying at the Doubletree made the vacation significantly less enjoyable. Half the time we were there we were without hot water and heater. To make matters worse, our sliding glass door was off the track and letting cold air in all night. I wish I had brought extra blankets from home because it was freezing in our room. When I talked to the front desk the day before we checked out, I asked if there was anything they could do to fix the HVAC/hot water issue, and they told me that the utilities company had to shut off heating and hot water to our building because of smoke. They said that they would give me a refund for our stay, but couldnt because I booked through an external provider. They said Id need to call the provider to get the refund taken care of. I did that today, and my reservation provider told me that the front desk manager at Doubletree denied my refund. Total scam. Stay far away from this place. There are much better hotels around Arden for the same price or less. And if youre wanting the no heater/hot water experience, save yourself $150/night and just go camping.
